What are the essential beliefs of a believer

 There are at least 10 doctrines that are essential: 

A. The Bible is the inerrant Word of God, sufficient for faith and practice {Galatians 3:16; John 10: 35; Matthew 5:17-18; John 17:17; Proverbs 30:5; Psalms 119:160} 

B. God is a Trinity in essence – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit {2 Corinthians 3:17; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Colossians 2:9; Isaiah 9:6; Isaiah 44:6; John 1:14; John 10:30; Luke 1:35; Matthew 1:23} 

C. Jesus Christ is God manifested in the Flesh being Virgin Born and Sinless {1 Peter 2:22; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrew 4:15; Luke 1:35} 

D. His Death on the Cross was necessary as a substitution atonement for the transgressions of all mankind. His Resurrection and Ascension in Heaven assures all mankind of His ability to give salvation to whosoever will {1 Peter 2:24; Leviticus 17:11; 1 John 2:2; Hebrews 9:12; Revelations 5:9; Romans 5:6-11; Romans 5:2; Hebrew 13:12; Hebrew 9:22} 

E. One receives Salvation by God’s Grace is delivered personally by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ and the Father to all who repent and believe the Gospel {John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 2:8; Romans 6;23; Acts 16:31} 

F. Each believer has Jesus Christ as a personal Savior & High Priest to the Father, while being indwelt by the Holy Spirit {Hebrew 5:2-10; Hebrew 4:14-16; Ephesians 5:18-20} 

G. The Two Ordinances; Water Baptism (observed immediately after Salvation; Matthew 28:29; Acts 22:16; John 3:5; Ephesians 4:5; Romans 6:3-4) and the Lord’s Supper (observed repeatedly after Salvation; 1 John 1:7; Matthew 26:26-29; Hebrew 10:25; 2 Corinthians 13:14) are for Christians only. 

H. Heaven and Hell are literal locations in God’s Creation; Heaven is abode of our Creator and for all the Saved of the Ages, while Hell and then the Lake of Fire are (3) Bill Swanson reserved for all the Unsaved of all the Ages {Romans 2:6-8; Matthew 25:46; Revelations 20:10; Revelations 21:1-27} 

I. The Great Commission of each local church is to evangelize everyone possible here and on each foreign field {Matthew 28:18-20; John 20:21; Matthew 9:37-38; Mark 16:15} 

J. Jesus Christ is personally and visibly returning to earth to culminate the works of darkness and deliver each believer into his and her eternal rewards {Matthew 24-36; 1Thessialonians 4:16-17; Revelation 1:7; Revelations 22:12-13}
